Job location: Shirwal (55 KM from Katraj) Canteen and transport facility available

Job Description:
- Purchasing all the materials from import suppliers as per systems requirement. Close coordination with planning material requirement.
- Initiate purchases of import materials as required and setting up max and min levels of inventory.
- Establish procedures to monitor purchases for conformance to specifications, price, delivery, regulatory requirements, and quality.
- Place orders in a timely fashion and in a quantity sufficient to meet ongoing demands.
- Ensuring the timely delivery of material, follow up to vendor for timely supply the material
- Define, plan and implement and purchasing strategies
- Work with suppliers, manufacturers, and internal departments
- Planning procurement of material from SAP-MRP
- Build and maintain relationships with suppliers and vendors
- Classification and analysis of procurement of various materials.
- Generate monthly purchase report, Monthly open purchase order analysis.
- Follow up to vendor for timely supply the material
- Purchased all type of imported materials which is required for production.
- Negotiate with suppliers to meet quality, delivery & cost objective.
- To decide and maintain minimum stock levels, improve systems to minimize the lead time, both internal & external, Inventory control, reporting to seniors etc.
- Data maintenance & taking feedback from Vendors/Suppliers.
Qualification: B.E Mechanical / Electrical / Electronics
Experience: 8-14 Years
Desired background:
- Working experience in all aspects Import, Export, Logistics Support, Purchase Documentation, preferably in Manufacturing (Engineering) Industry.
- Hands on experience & must have worked on SAP/ ERP in manufacturing company.
- Knowledge of end-to-end process of international procurement, Knowledge of logistics operations
- Familiar with technical and commercial, import terms and conditions of purchase
- Thorough knowledge of all the material required for regular use of imported material, parts etc.
- Strong communication & interpersonal skills with abilities in Vendor Management.
- Ability to work collaboratively with various teams, Experience in working with cross functional teams
