Job Description

Profile: Customer Service Manager (6 Days working)
Location: Sanaswadi, Pune

Key Responsibilities:

Lead S & OP process for foundry India:- Monthly production plan validation: Weekly stock norms generation ; FG Inventory Planning ; Weekly Stock warning report on critical SKUs ; FG Inventory health monitoring ; Continuous replenishment through evaluation of shortage risks ; Ensure stock availability and protect service level ; Analyze the obsoletes & slow movers ; Monthly shortage analysis to identify the root causes of service losses ;

Plan shipments and execute as per customer requirements by appropriate kitting to optimise freight cost.

Manage warehouse operations and VMI for customers at Sanaswadi.
Manage export sales and collection

Comply with documents legal and customer specific for all shipments (local/ exports)

Train team members on the best practices. Lead HSE and IMS activities and create culture so that it becomes a way of life for the team

Lead lean activities in the cell

Analyse any internal / external rejections/ CCARs thoroughly by using 5 why/ 8D and prevent repeat incidents


Key Development activities:

Infrastructure Development Projects for Logistics division- Warehouse Capacity Planning, Layout Designing, Storage Strategy Formulation, Bin Structure Designing, Warehouse Space Sizing, and Process Excellence Projects.

Select service providers and work with them to continuously improve reliability and delivery performance through introduction of relevant performance measures/ service level agreements.

Enhance ease of business with customers by continuously scouting for such opportunities and getting them done with the help of IT


Required Candidate profile

The customer service and logistics function along with S & OP requires a thorough understanding of several business processes and requires the person to interact at different levels right from highest level in the customers to transport personnel and material handling methods. Internally also, it involves interacting with several countries across the world and levels. This makes the role very challenging. To maintain excellent and proactive communication with all concerned makes it further demanding. Customer complaints handling is an area where problem analysis and solving is crucial.
